The Events Cabinet
The Events Cabinet of the Engineering Student Government (ESG) is dedicated to creating engaging social opportunities for Pratt undergraduates. The cabinet is led by two Directors of E-Socials and one Director of Special Events. The Directors of E-Socials organize weekly informal networking events, bringing companies to campus for casual conversations and recruitment. Notable events include the popular E-Socials held every Friday at 5 p.m. on the E-Quad.
The Director of Special Events coordinates larger celebrations, such as the fall E-Oktoberfest and the spring E-Picnic, providing food, drinks, and music for students to unwind and connect with peers and industry professionals.
E-Socials & E-Picnics
Fridays at 5pm, ESG hosts an E-Social on E-quad! These events bring a company onto campus to talk to students in a casual and fun setting, giving the opportunity for informal networking and recruiting. Each semester, we also host a big celebration with food, drinks, and music for Pratt undergrads: in the fall, look out for E-Oktoberfest, and then E-Picnic in the spring!
